An introduction to Hatch Studios with a behind the scenes look at television vehicle and design/motion-graphics spots.
7:00-7:30 : Guest Speaker – Brett Simms (Brett Simms Imaging)
The growth and impact of Computer Graphics in the print, advertising and photography industry.
7:30 -8:00 : Guest Speaker – Shawn Hendriks (Autodesk)
A special SIGGRAPH New Orleans encore presentation.
8:00 – 8:10 : Closing remarks by Nicholas Moshenko (TVUG Moderator)
8:10 - 10:00 : Refreshments and networking at Betty's (240 King Street West. Just west of the Autodesk head office).

6:45 - 7:15: Guest Speaker - Caesar Ruest (BIM Solutions Executive - Autodesk)
BIM for Architecture Engineering and Construction – Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a global trend affecting the design and delivery of buildings. Our session will cover some basic Revit concepts and best practices when exporting to Max, as well as review some incredible Canadian Revit buildings.
7:15 - 7:45: Guest Speaker - Shawn Hendriks (Community and Video Production Manager - Autodesk)
During the 3dsmax session we will begin with a quick look at some of the new features of 3dsmax design 2010 and complete the demonstration by talking about a fast rising topic in the industry, Stereo graphics.
7:45 - 8:00: Closing Remarks and Prize Draw by Oliver De La Rama

TVUG First Inaugural Meeting - October 2008

Many thanks to those who participated in TVUG's first inaugural meeting, which took place in October of 2008 at The Raq (Toronto, Ontario).

Also a big thank you to Jeff Mottle of CGarchitect for promoting TVUG's first meeting on CGarchitect. The response that we received was great, and we are excited to have Jeff's support.
